The decisions that matter most—whether to shut down a grid, replace an asset, rebalance a portfolio—are made under uncertainty with incomplete information. Traditional analytics predict what might happen. They don't explain why or tell you what to do.
Causify was founded on a simple belief: decisions should be causal. You should know what drives your outcomes, which interventions will change them, and why your model recommended what it did.
We build causal AI decision engines for the teams who can't afford to be wrong: grid operators, maintenance leaders, portfolio managers, and supply chain planners. Our platform turns causal inference research into production systems that deliver explainable, defensible decisions at scale.
Our story
Causify began when our founders—veterans of enterprise AI, energy operations, and quantitative finance—kept running into the same problem: black-box models that worked until they didn't, and when they failed, no one could explain why.
We saw grid operators curtail renewable energy because they couldn't defend counterfactual scenarios. We saw manufacturers lose millions to unplanned downtime because anomaly detection couldn't prioritize what mattered. We saw portfolio managers unable to explain drawdowns to risk committees.
The answer wasn't more ML. It was causal AI: systems that model the why, not just the what. We founded Causify to bring state-of-the-art causal inference research to production and deliver it as an enterprise platform that integrates with real operations.
